One price per seat, from the first seat, with a fortnight free and no card. Model and token bills stay where they are, with Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor and the rest. Runi charges for the team layer only.
The price#
| Billing | Per seat, per month | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $10 | Cancel any time. |
| Yearly | $8 | Billed $96 per seat a year. Saves 20%. |
The floor is one seat. One person can start alone and the team follows when it is ready. There is no minimum to clear before you are allowed to try it.
Enterprise (SSO, audit logs, retention controls, invoicing) is a conversation rather than a page. Say hello.
The trial#
-
The clock starts on the website, before an account exists#
When you sign up at tryruni.com/start, the trial is recorded against your email address. Fourteen days, no card.
-
Install and sign in#
Nothing about this step involves payment.
-
Create your workspace#
The trial is claimed for your address and carried onto the workspace, in one transaction. A workspace that existed without a subscription would be an unbilled workspace, so the two are created together or not at all.
Note
Re-submitting your address returns the original end date. It never extends the trial. Re-typing your address is not a way to farm free months, and somebody checking whether it worked sees the same answer twice instead of a moving date.
Invited teammates do not need a trial#
They join yours. An address with no trial and no workspace of its own cannot create a workspace, which is the rule that stops a signup being a free workspace dispenser.
Seats#
A seat is a person in the workspace. Removing someone in Settings → Members is what changes the seat count, and the floor is one.
Adding a card, and cancelling#
Settings → Billing handles both. No card is needed until day fifteen. Cancel before day fourteen and you pay nothing.
A cancelled subscription runs to the end of the period it has already been paid for. Runi records the provider's own word for the subscription's state as evidence instead of trusting a local flag, which is why deleting a workspace with a live subscription refuses until the provider confirms the cancellation.
When the trial ends without a card#
The workspace stops being entitled. Runi says so plainly instead of quietly degrading. Nothing is deleted, and adding a card restores it.
Deleting a workspace ends the billing first#
Runi cancels the subscription, waits for confirmation, and only then deletes. If the payment provider cannot be reached, nothing is deleted and you are told why:
The subscription could not be ended, so nothing was deleted.
Deleting the workspace while the card kept being charged would be the worse failure, so the order is fixed. See Deleting your data.
Common questions#
No. Your model bills stay entirely with your providers and are unaffected by Runi. Runi charges for the seat.
Yes, and that is the default. No card is taken for the trial, so there is nothing to cancel if you walk away.
Yes, from Settings → Billing. If anything about the proration looks wrong, email us. We would rather fix it by hand than argue with you about it.
Ask and we will send one. Invoicing proper lives on the enterprise plan.
